13th February Zoom - Cathy Gordon -Vestibular Conditions and More

Cathy Gordon has worked as a Specialist Vestibular Physiotherapist in the NHS and privately for over 15 years.  She works as part of the Balance Clinic in the ENT Department at Stepping Hill alongside an ENT consultant, and audiologist and runs a Vestibular Rehabilitation clinic on alternative weeks to the Balance Clinic.  She sees a wide range of patients with vestibular conditions as well as patients with dizziness and headaches, related to migraines and cervical spine (neck) disorders.  There are many causes for these conditions and can be present in people with ME/CFS.  In this talk, Cathy will explain the pathophysiological background to these conditions and explain the symptoms, and provide a brief overview of ways of managing these symptoms.

As usual everyone is welcome to attend our sessions. Ideally if you attend more than one session in a year you will consider joining/renewing your membership for this year. Our year runs October to September.

You do not need to have your camera on to attend, you can be in your PJs if you like. We do ask if you are going to move around, change clothes etc. that you turn your camera off for that period. Similarly we generally recommend that you have your sound off unless you wish to ask a question/speak although if you find it difficult to do this and there isnt background noise where you are then it is ok to be unmuted.

A link will be added nearer the time to join the session.

This will be at 11am Friday 13th February 2026. There will be some of us joining as much as 30 min early in case anyone wants to chat or ask any questions.
