This workshop will be May 13th at 10.30am for 11am start.
This workshop is all about exploring ways to make lively, expressive sketches, starting with short guided activities. The subject will be house plants (if you don’t have an accessible house plant you could try using a leafy vegetable, or bring some plant material in from outdoors). The emphasis is on using activities to encouraging a playful approach, letting go of the idea of getting it ‘right’, and enjoying the process.
No previous experience necessary and all abilities are welcome from beginner on wards. In fact I (Collette) encourage everyone to let themselves be a beginner and take up the pencil freshly, with curiosity and a willingness to make ‘mistakes’ . We will probably discover that part of us wants to do that, and a part of us definitely doesn’t! It’s all welcome.
You will need a pencil, rubber and plenty of sheets of paper – and a house plant. You are welcome to step back from the workshop at any point, or have a break and return.
As usual everyone is welcome.

We have quite a lot of other events on at the moment look at the Events section to see if there is anything else you are interested in.
We are arranging some face to face socials during quiet times in the week in public parks with good parking, access and facilities for coffee etc. for those who want them. These will be in May-June.
We are organising 1-2 online socials and we have a session on Heart Rate Monitors and Condition Management from leading expert Professor Todd Davenport on 25th May at 6pm. Note that for this session we might use a different event link than the usual one.
