This month we will have a session with Millie Bridger, postponed from earlier this year for our second Friday of the month Zoom. We will also have a mindfulness session with Michael on Zoom. There will be a Mindfulness session with Michael on Wednesday 7th October at 11am.

We are delighted to have a session run by Millie. Here is a little about her “Millie Bridger is a UK-based speaker, writer, actress, model and health advocate who is redefining how disability and chronic illness are seen in society. Living with multiple complex conditions, including Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome, gastroparesis and PoTS, she shares her story with honesty and energy, challenging stigma and opening conversations that inspire inclusion. Feeding tubes and mobility aids are part of her everyday life, and she places them at the centre of her advocacy to show that visibility drives change. “
As usual everyone is welcome. You do not need to be a current member of Stockport ME Group to attend but we do ask if you attend multiple sessions of ours in a year you consider joining for that year. Face to Face Social – Stockroom – Tuesday 20th October 1pm
We are back at Stockroom for our Face to Face social. We will try to grab one of the large desks by the entrance. We should be somewhere easy to find near but not in the cafe. This way people can bring their own food and drinks if they want but the cafe is also nearby for those who wish it. Everyone is welcome.
