Problem with membership forms/Stripe payments

On our meeting last Friday someone told me that they were having problems trying to join through our membership forms. I looked into this and found that there was a problem with our Stripe account. Basically Stripe was wanting a document proving that we are a business trading from the address we gave them when setting up the form. Obviously we are a charity, not a business and I think the problem is now in the process of being sorted. I have submitted a PDF of our Charity Commision entry which they can access independently and confirms our “official” address. So I expect the problem will be sorted later this week ( It is 15th April today).

I havent disabled the membership form or anything like that as it would be a pain to set back up again and I am stretched a bit thin this week. But if you are wanting to join then please either use the link to a separate form (where the forms for membership and payment/donation are separate) which will still be working fine.

Update – 16th April – I have logged into the Stripe account and the problem now should be sorted. If anyone does have any problems then please let me know. Anyone who has tried to join between 25th March and 15th April might have had a problem but this should be sorted now.
